Music programs are offered as both before and after school opportunities for students up until 8th grade, providing a solid foundation in music education and fostering a love for the arts. Once students reach 9th grade, they can choose from three daily electives: String Orchestra, Concert Band, or Choir. Each of these electives allows students to specialize in their area of interest and refine their musical skills. The music department hosts two Fine Arts Nights each year, serving as exciting performance goals for students to showcase their growth and talents to the school community. These events celebrate the dedication and creativity of the students, providing a platform for them to shine and share their musical accomplishments.

Electives: In the String Orchestra, students have the chance to learn and master instruments such as the violin, viola, cello, and double bass. Concert Band offers instruction in a variety of wind, brass, and percussion instruments, including the flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, and drums. Meanwhile, Choir focuses on vocal techniques, harmonization, and ensemble singing, allowing students to develop their voices as instruments of expression.

In addition to regular instruction and performances, students in these programs will also have the opportunity to prepare for All-State and Honor Ensemble auditions. For those who wish to participate, dedicated support and guidance will be provided to help them work toward these prestigious audition opportunities.
